Smart Gardener offers a wide range of features to cater to various gardening styles. If you'd prefer a more traditional garden layout, this guide will walk you through the steps to remove vertical gardening and succession sowing options from your existing garden plan.

Smart Gardener currently allows vertical gardening and succession sowing to be enabled only during initial garden creation. These features directly influence the generation of sowing to-do lists for each plant variety.

However, there's a handy workaround! You can create a copy of your existing garden as a new one. During this process, you'll have the option to disable vertical gardening and succession sowing for the new version, tailoring it to your specific needs.

Here are the steps for removing vertical gardening and succession gardening from a new garden:

Step 1: Replicate Current Garden for Next Season

Select a garden to be transitioned into the next growing season under the "Copy a Garden" dropdown:

Step 2: Customize Your New Garden

Make sure to select the appropriate year and season for your garden, and do not check the boxes next to "Vertical Gardening" and "Succession Sowing" if you'd like those options for your new garden to be disabled.

Step 3: Start Planning Your Next Season's Garden

Click the "Save" button and you will be ready to start planning your next season's garden!
